Casa Tunich

Located in the north of the Yucatán Peninsula, Casa Tunich is situated in a privileged spot with a stunning view of the Gulf of Mexico. Its design was conceived to make the most of the sea views and capture the refreshing breeze that characterizes this coastal region.

The Ápiron studio, with eight years of experience in real estate development and architecture, was responsible for carrying out this unique project. Its main focus has been to work closely with construction companies and rely on mood boards agreed upon with clients to create personalized, tailor-made designs.

The idea for Casa Tunich arose in 2020, when the client expressed his desire to have a spacious house that reflected a modern style adapted to the beach, with touches of the brutalist trend. The planning and design process took four months, during which close collaboration with engineers and 3D modeling were used to visualize and refine every detail.

One of the biggest challenges was incorporating all the adaptations requested by the client. However, the final result was a perfect combination of his preferences and the creative vision of the Ápiron studio.

One of the key decisions in the design of Casa Tunich was the choice of high-quality products that complemented the overall aesthetic of the project. During a launch event, Antonio Irigoyen, the architect in charge, discovered Cesantoni products and fell in love with their exceptional style. For the flooring, the elegant Kiel Gray was used, while in the bathroom the charming Brick Edimburgo Marfil was chosen, adding a distinctive touch to that space.

One of the most outstanding features of Casa Tunich is that every area of the home offers panoramic sea views. From the spacious living areas to the comfortable bedrooms, every corner was designed so that residents and guests can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the ocean.
