Casa TOME is an impressive architectural work located in Cholula, Puebla, built in 2021 by the talented teams at mxTAD and tulugar.mx. This residence features an irregular form that departs from conventional housing designs and stands out for its complete and continuous connection with the outdoor environment, while maintaining total privacy on its facade.
One of the standout features of this project is the integration of green courtyards, which intersect with the interior spaces and provide light, ventilation, and unique views. These courtyards not only offer a fresh and natural atmosphere, but also create a healthy and welcoming interior environment.
The interior spaces are characterized by their spaciousness and comfort. The design seeks to maximize functionality and provide a relaxing environment for the home’s residents. In addition, the kitchen becomes the central core of the house, an open and welcoming space that encourages family and social interaction.
Nature is a constant companion, as tall trees surround the property, adding beauty and serenity to the architectural design. These trees also provide shade and protection, complementing the harmonious integration of the house with the surrounding natural environment.
As for the materials used, it shows a careful and innovative choice. Edinburgh bricks were used in different spaces, such as the bathroom and kitchen, adding a unique and sophisticated texture to these areas. For the flooring, the Atís model was chosen, providing an elegant aesthetic and lasting functionality.
Casa TOME is an architectural masterpiece that challenges conventional standards and demonstrates how innovation and connection with nature can converge in a stunning design. This unique residence in Cholula, Puebla, is an inspiring example of how architecture can create spaces that delight their inhabitants and integrate harmoniously with the surroundings.
