The neutral that does not condition the project

Gray wall tile is the most widely used neutral in bathrooms and kitchens because it does not constrain any other design decision. It pairs well with warm woods, whites, matte black, steel, and brass, and it allows you to change the fixtures, vanity, or textiles years later without the wall looking outdated. In homes for sale or rent, it is the lowest-risk choice.

Within gray, the undertone shapes the atmosphere as much as the brightness. Cool grays, with a bluish base, lean toward an industrial and contemporary look; warm grays, with an earthy base, feel more domestic and inviting, and age better alongside wood. Light shades make the bathroom feel larger and are the safe option for smaller surfaces; graphite tones add character and depth but need good artificial lighting so the space does not feel closed in.

In terms of finish, matte keeps gray stable against changes in light throughout the day, while polished brightens it and adds reflective depth, which is very effective in an interior bathroom. Our gray ranges include floor and wall tiles in the same tone and in several formats, allowing you to wrap the entire room and extend the same color to the terrace by changing only the finish to grip.
