Ceramic products made with white bodies offer a competitive
advantage over traditional bodies due to the higher quality and
purity of the raw materials used, which provides superior
benefits in terms of scratch resistance, durability, minimum
moisture absorption, greater hardness, greater resistance to
bending and greater capacity to sudden temperature changes.
WHITE BODY
- Burning temperature close to porcelain stoneware 1180ºC.
- Generally free of organic matter.
- The iron content does not exceed 2%.
- Mechanical resistance is higher due to the high pressure used when shaping the body.
- Thickened enamel can be used.
- High gloss and textured finishes are achieved.

Red body
- Higher presence of polluting oxides.
- Lower mechanical resistance.
- Higher absorption.
- Lower temperature and rapid cooking cycles.
- Higher content of organic matter, which favors lower quality blackheart.
- Prone to deformities.
- Limited to glazes with good expansion.

SUPER GRES is a ceramic product with high technical properties that is the result of design and innovation. It is the outcome of mixing natural materials with a high level of purity and free of ferrous oxide which produce a higher whiteness to the body and result in a higher degree of hardness and resistance.
These technical properties make it superior to red bodies and comparable to those of a porcelain body.
